Meet Kenia!

Kenia is a petite black beauty with a quiet strength that has blossomed into confidence. Rescued from a large colony of cats, she first arrived at our shelter in October 2024 feeling shy and unsure about the unfamiliar world around her. New sounds, new faces, and gentle hands were all a bit overwhelming at first. With time, patience, and plenty of love, Kenia began to realize she was safe. Day by day, her cautious glances turned into curious looks, and her hesitant steps became confident strides. Now, she happily roams our General Population, seeking out pets and soaking up attention from visitors. She especially enjoys gentle chin scratches and will lean in sweetly for more. Kenia’s journey from timid colony cat to affectionate companion has been truly heartwarming. She would thrive in just about any home — whether alongside another friendly feline or as the center of attention as your one and only. All she needs is a loving family to continue the happy chapter she’s just begun.
