Meet Birkee!

Birkee is a striking tuxedo kitten. Rescued from a colony alongside his siblings, he came into our care as a frightened, shy little boy who had never known human kindness. People — and the comfort of indoor life — were completely new to him. With time, patience, and lots of love, Birkee has truly blossomed. The timid boy who once hid from the world now seeks out affection and companionship. He happily explores and plays in our general population with other kitties, showing how far he’s come in building confidence and trust. He’s discovered that humans are pretty wonderful after all — and he’s ready to share his sweet, loving nature with a forever family of his own.
