Meet Wrex!

Wrex came to us as a shy stray kitten who was still figuring out that people could be gentle. At first, everything was new and a little overwhelming, but with time, patience, and consistency, he has started to change in the most heartwarming way. Now, Wrex is discovering play, confidence, and curiosity. He absolutely loves toys and is learning that human interaction can actually be pretty great. While he still appreciates having a cozy, safe space to retreat to when he needs it, he's becoming more social every day and showing us more of his playful, silly kitten personality. Wrex gets along well with his kennel mates and would thrive in a patient home with another feline sibling to help show him the ropes and continue building his confidence. Moments like Wrex's remind us why this work matters. Every small step forward is a big win for a cat who is learning to trust again, and watching him blossom has been a true joy.
